Our History
Holy City Homemade Italian Ice was founded in 2016 by Nicole Herrman, a transplant from New York. Nicole has always been proud of her Italian heritage and loves cooking all food but especially Italian. After moving to Mount Pleasant, Nicole quickly realized that it was difficult to find all-natural, sweet treats for her two children at the many festivals and events around the area. She thought that Italian Ice would be the perfect refreshment for the warm climate in the South and since authentic Italian Ice could not be found, she thought she would make it herself – and thus Holy City Homemade Italian Ice was born!
